Executive Summary
Dhonggini, a beauty product brand, was producing content the way every other beauty page does: clean product shots and standard demo videos that blended into the feed. By flipping the strategy toward meme-style, relatable content built around the product, the page generated 2.8M+ video views and 1.2M+ 3-second views in a two-month window, with organic reach alone accounting for over 2.65M of those views.

The Challenge
Beauty brands selling through social commerce face a specific attention problem:
Saturated feed: every competitor posts the same polished product demo format, so nothing stands out.
Low organic reach: algorithms increasingly favor entertaining, shareable content over direct product promotion.
Trust gap: beauty product claims (waterproof, long-lasting, skin-safe) are heavily oversold across the market, making audiences skeptical of straightforward demo content.
High cost of paid reach: without strong organic pull, every view has to be bought, which doesn’t scale for a growing beauty brand.
Dhonggini needed content that would get shared for its own sake, not just watched because it was an ad.
The Strategy & Action
Meme-First Content Format
Instead of leading with product features, content was built around relatable, locally-flavored memes and situational humor, the kind of posts people share with friends regardless of whether they’re shopping. The product (eyeliner, hijab pins, lip and skin items) was woven into the punchline rather than pitched on top of it, so the content felt native to the platform instead of like an ad.
Pain-Point Humor
Common beauty frustrations (smudging, sweat, long shifts, emotional moments ruining makeup) were turned into the comedic hook of each video, for example “waterproof eyeliner that survives crying during emotional scenes”. This let the product’s core selling point land through humor instead of a hard claim, which audiences trusted more and shared more.
Low-Production, High-Relatability Format
Videos were kept short, casual, and unpolished by design: phone-shot, fast-paced, and captioned in conversational Bangla, matching the native meme aesthetic of the platform rather than looking like branded advertising. This lowered production cost while increasing watch-through and share rates.
Organic-Led, Ads-Supported Distribution
The content was built to perform organically first; paid spend was layered in only to extend reach on proven winners, rather than carrying weak content. As a result, organic views outpaced paid views by nearly 16:1 over the campaign period.

2.8M+ total video views: up 32.8K% period-over-period.
1.2M+ 3-second views: up 124.3K%, a strong signal the meme hooks stopped the scroll.
36.8K content interactions: up 7.0K%.
222+ days of cumulative watch time generated from a single content cycle.
2.65M+ views from organic reach alone: proving the content didn’t need to be bought to perform.
For a beauty brand competing against identical product-demo content everywhere, the unlock wasn’t a bigger ad budget, it was making people want to share the content before they even thought about the product. Meme marketing turned Dhonggini’s organic page into its strongest acquisition channel.
